Moti Kremener

Beyrouth was one of the main ports of the Ottoman Empire, and European post offices operated in the city according to the Capitulation agreements. The exhibit covers the postal system to and from Beyrouth until the British occupation in 1918. It is organized according to the post offices, showing postal markings and forms, different rates and other services offered.
